Craig’s style contains a number of influences, initially trying to emulate what he was listening to at the time - mainly Detroit techno, in particular, Derrick May and Juan Atkins, in addition to music emanating from UK labels such as A.R.T (Applied Rhythm Technology) and Warp’s "Artificial Intelligence" releases as well as the more hard edged sounds of Ubik and Neuroplitique.
From that point on Craig’s music has progressed and he has tried to push the sound in a variety of directions. His music today is the sum total of all those early attempts to recreate or capture elements of the music he loves. In 1997 Craig collaborated with architect Robin McClory, exploring the relation of sound and space in a one-year Installation project at Strathclyde University.
Craig has also been involved in producing music for short films including "12 steps of Psychotherapy" by ISO as featured on ‘One Dot Zero’ series on Channel Four and music for "Lucid"- a celebrated showcase of Glasgow club, art and music culture by Blackwatch Productions for channel Four in 2000. Early 2002, he composed music to accompany the short film "Space" by London-based installation artist Ben Scott.
In addition to his solo work, Craig has worked in collaboration with Jason Brunton under the name Methodology for the past 3 years, co-producing the “veto” remix of Arron Carl ‘Crucified’ in 2001 for Sirkus records and releasing La Triste on his own Iridite label. At time
